How to reach Kaltern

Both the Siganatenhof and the Prunarhof are located in peaceful, green surroundings in the district of St. Nikolaus overlooking  Kaltern and offer you a stunning panoramic view of Lake Kaltern and South Tyrol's mountains! Your car can also have a holiday because the closest restaurant and bus stop is 100m away. You can reach the centre of the village and shopping facilities in 15 minutes on foot.

By Car

From the north (Brenner): Highway A22, Exit Bozen Süd, take the Weinstraße towards Kaltern.

From the south: Highway A22, Exit Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin, take the Weinstraße towards Kaltern.

From Arlberg/Landeck: Take the Reschen Pass to Meran, then take the highway in the direction of Bozen, exit on the Weinstraße towards Kaltern.

By Air - Transfers

BUS TRANSFER FROM/TO THE AIRPORTS IN MUNICH, VERONA, BERGAMO AND MILAN MALPENSA

The airport transfer of the South Tyrol bus fleet will take you six times a day, seven days a week, from the airports to your accommodation in South Tyrol. The buses will stop in the cities and villages en route to South Tyrol. Buses depart from the bus terminal in Bozen/Bolzano every thirty minutes (every hour on Sundays and bank holidays) to Kaltern. Mobilcard

South Tyrol by bus or train

Mobilcard lets you use the public bus and rail network throughout South Tyrol for 1, 3 or 7 consecutive days.

Included in the network are: • Regional trains (not Eurostar/Intercity) in South Tyrol (Brennero – Trento, Malles – San Candido/Versciaco) • All urban and extra-urban bus services • The cable cars to Renon, San Genesio, Colle, Verano, Meltina e Maranza • The narrow-track railway on the Renon mountain and the cable railway up to the Mendola mountain • The PostBus Switzerland between Malles and Müstair.

museumobil Card | The card enables the owner the use of all public means of transportation belonging to the South Tyrol Integrated Transport Network. Each card provides one admission to each of the more than 90 participating museums, collections and exhibitions sites. All extra services such as guided tours, museum educational activities or special events are not included unless expressly indicated.

bikemobil Card | The bikemobil Card is a combined ticket which allows you to rent a bike and to make full use of South Tyrol's Integrated Public Transport network, including the PostBus Switzerland service between Malles and Müstair (CH).
